 Tourists Rescued from Kumrat Valley

The Tourism and Culture Authority of KP has successfully rescued 200 tourists stranded in Kumrat Valley due to heavy rainfall. The tourists were safely rescued from Dojangla, Kala Chesma, and Abshar and assembled at Grand Palace hotel. They will be shifted to Kalam, where food and other services are being provided.

Rescue Operation in Full Swing

The police and district administration are providing full support in the rescue operation. The tourists were stranded after roads were blocked due to heavy rainfalls in Kumrat Dir Upper. The authorities are working tirelessly to ensure the safe evacuation of all tourists.

Balochistan Bears the Brunt of Heavy Rainfall

In Balochistan’s Naseer Abad district, around 20 houses collapsed due to unceasing 36-hour rainfall. Railway tracks were submerged in rainwater, and train services were suspended. The heavy rain spell has disrupted communication systems in various cities of Balochistan.

Communication Services Disrupted

Mobile and landline phone services were suspended in Panjgur, but the administration failed to take notice. The heavy rainfall has caused widespread damage to infrastructure and property in Balochistan.

Relief Efforts Underway

The authorities are working to provide relief to affected areas. Food and shelter are being provided to those affected by the heavy rainfall. The rescue operation in Kumrat Valley is a testament to the authorities’ commitment to ensuring the safety of tourists.
