Shadab Khan, an all-rounder for Pakistan, joined a law enforcement agency (LEA) on Wednesday, becoming the most recent cricket player to do so.

Shadab joined the Punjab Police after being given the honorary rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) by the province’s top police officer, Dr. Usman Anwar. According to a statement issued by the police on X, formerly Twitter.

Shadab has been named the brand ambassador for the provincial police. According to the statement. It further stated that. He was also briefed on the operations of various departments after his appointment.

Shadab responded to the news by expressing his excitement at joining the provincial police force.

“Being named a brand ambassador by Punjab IG is an honor for me. Being a member of Punjab Police makes me very happy,” he continued.

Shadab has been taking it easy since he got hurt. Chief Selector Wahab Riaz had declared in a press conference the day before that he would not be included in the T20I team for the series against New Zealand.
