PTI leader Zain Qureshi ‘barred’ from flying to Dubai

Zain Qureshi, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the son of the late foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, ‘banned’ on Thursday from traveling to Dubai, according to sources by the private news channel.

Zain Qureshi arrived at Lahore International Airport to take a trip from an international carrier to Dubai, however the FIA Immigration authorities did not permit him to board the aircraft.

The FIA halted Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s kid because his name was on the Exit Control List (ECL).

Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the vice chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, is accused of leaking a cipher in a case under the Official Secrets Act, and Zain Qureshi is his son.

Over 200 alleged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and employees prevented from leaving the country earlier by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

The PTI leaders and employees who reportedly participated in the disturbances on May 9 are now under closer scrutiny from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

According to sources who spoke to the private news channel, the FIA sent a list of more than 200 PTI leaders and employees to airports and other points of exit to prevent them from leaving the country.
