PTI Leader Asad Qaiser Calls for Judicial Commission to Investigate Cipher Case

Asad Qaiser, a prominent PTI leader backed by the Sunni Ittehad Council, has proposed the formation of a judicial commission by the Supreme Court to unveil the truth behind the cipher case.

Addressing the National Assembly on Monday, Qaiser urged for the removal of the ban imposed on PTI by the media regulatory authority, dismissal of cases against party members, and scrutiny of alleged electoral irregularities.

Expressing concerns over the cipher case, Qaiser emphasized that the PTI firmly believes that former Prime Minister Imran Khan was convicted based on the cipher. He raised doubts about the credibility of the proceedings, alleging that judges were coerced into delivering verdicts under duress.

Qaiser reiterated PTI’s commitment to defending constitutional rights and seeking justice through lawful channels. He warned that if the party’s rights were not upheld, governance would be challenged. He pledged to persist in the pursuit of justice within the bounds of the law.

In addition, Qaiser criticized political adversaries, questioning the validity of their electoral triumphs and advocating for a comprehensive investigation into alleged electoral malpractices. He denounced the recent raid on the residence of presidential hopeful Mehmood Khan Achakzai.

Highlighting Imran Khan’s steadfastness in principles, Qaiser affirmed that the former prime minister would face the situation in the country without compromise. He asserted PTI’s unwavering stance against authoritarian rule and emphasized the need for constitutional supremacy.

Qaiser called for an inquiry into alleged electoral fraud in Karachi by a commission comprising Supreme Court judges. He declared PTI’s unwavering commitment to the Constitution and dismissed any speculation of party fragmentation.

In a bold move, Qaiser demanded the lifting of the ban on PTI by PEMRA and the withdrawal of cases against key party figures as a precondition for dialogue.
