PIA Announces 20% Discount for Pakistani Students Traveling to China

KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has introduced a 20% discount for Pakistani students traveling to China for academic purposes. In addition, the national flag carrier has increased the baggage allowance to 60 kilograms, according to an airline official.

Currently, PIA operates a weekly flight on the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route every Sunday. This discount is available for students planning to visit Pakistan for summer holidays or those returning home after completing their degrees.

Previously, PIA had increased the discount rate for students traveling to China to 27%. Additionally, PIA reduced fares for economy and executive economy classes on domestic flights by 20% during Eid ul Fitr.
