In a significant breakthrough, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) have agreed on proposed constitutional amendments focusing on judicial reforms. This consensus was reached after an extensive meeting at Jati Umra in Lahore, attended by top leaders from the three parties.

Previous Agreement

On Tuesday, JUI-F and PPP reached an agreement on constitutional amendments in Karachi. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed intentions to include PML-N in the consensus, aiming to resolve public issues over individual interests.

PM Shehbaz will host a luncheon for coalition parties before the National Assembly sitting. With this agreement, Pakistan’s major parties demonstrate unity in addressing judicial reforms.
