Nadra Launches Mega Registration Centre in Karachi

In a move aimed at enhancing citizen accessibility to its services in Karachi, the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) inaugurated another ‘mega registration centre’ on Thursday.

The new facility, situated at Safoora Chowrangi on University Road, will operate for 16 hours daily, from 8 am to 12 am, announced Director General Nadra, Ehtasham Shahid.

Equipped with 20 counters, the Nadra centre aims to serve 700 citizens daily initially, with plans to ramp up the capacity to 1,500 by the year’s end.

This marks Nadra’s 21st centre in the city, bolstering its presence to cater to the burgeoning needs of Karachi’s populace.

Among the existing centres in Karachi are facilities located in Malir, VIP NRC RHO, Karachi Senior Citizen, Orangi Town, Landhi, Gulshan-e-Hadid, Soldier Bazar, Lyari, Saoodabad, Awami Markaz Sharea Faisal, and Shah Faisal Colony.

Additionally, Nadra operates centres at DHA’s Nisar Shaheed Park, Executive Clifton, Executive Shahra-e-Quaideen, Executive Sadar Passport Office, Executive KCCI, Mega North Nazimabad, Mega DHA Karachi, Mega Siemens Chowrangi, and Ibrahim Haidree.
