Karachi: Hira Mani, Nabeel Qureshi, others attacked while shooting

Film director Nabeel Qureshi, actors Hira Mani, Gul-e-Rana and others were attacked by mob during a shoot for an upcoming project in Karachi on Monday.

Drama’s director Nabeel Qureshi shared the horrific incident which involved a mob attack that took place during a shoot involving a hundred people in Karachi.

Qureshi said that the crew was attacked in PIB Colony’s Jamshed quarter martin road. The mob also harassed actresses, beat the shit out of the crew. And stole mobiles and wallets, and equipment as well.

He also urged the Sindh police and Rangers to take strict action against the people. And make an example out of it. The director also tagged Hira Mani and her husband Mani.

He also requested to fraternity all the actor’s producers to make sure that this shouldn’t happen again to any of the media industry members.

Hira Mani also took to their Instagram story. And shared how unfortunate event it that she witnessed. And prayed that no one ever faces such a situation ever in their life.

Hira Mani posted: ‘I want to thank my team members who fought till the last with the culprits to save us and are in very bad condition in the hospital right now.’ She also requested to pray for the members’ speedy recovery.
