Karachi Experiences Windy Weather, Mercury to Drop Further

Karachi is currently experiencing a spell of windy weather as the city comes under the influence of a westerly weather system. Northeastern winds are blowing through Karachi at speeds of up to 25 kilometers per hour, with forecasts suggesting that wind speeds could reach up to 40 kilometers per hour.

This windy weather is expected to bring down the mercury further, prolonging the ongoing cold wave until tomorrow (Wednesday), according to predictions from the weather office. The minimum temperature recorded this morning was 13 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Office has indicated that a new westerly wave is likely to approach Balochistan today, potentially affecting the weather in the province with strong winds and rainfall. Additionally, another westerly weather system is forecasted to enter the country via Balochistan on March 9, with the possibility of impacting Karachi and other parts of Sindh, as stated by the Met Office.
