 Ishaq Dar to Lead Delegation to China

Important strategic talks between Pakistan and China are set to take place in the middle of this month led by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

Sources indicate that a high-level delegation, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, will travel to Beijing for the discussions. On the Chinese side, Foreign Minister Wang Zhi will lead the delegation.

This marks the first high-level visit for bilateral talks since the formation of the new government in Pakistan. The proposed visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to China will also be on the agenda. Formal talks between the two countries are scheduled for May 15.

The discussions led by Ishaq Dar will primarily focus on furthering the development of bilateral relations, enhancing security cooperation, and strengthening economic partnerships. Additionally, security issues in the region will be addressed during the talks.
