In Bannu, Three students die in seminary roof collapse

BANNU: At least three students died and two others were injured when a roof of a seminary came down in the Bannu district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province on Tuesday morning.

Rescue workers claim that the Bannu seminary’s roof collapsed near Nala Kashupul, trapping students and teachers beneath the rubble.

Rescue teams and neighborhood residents flocked to the scene. As soon as they learned of the incident and immediately began the rescue effort.

The authorities reported that they had recovered the bodies of three students and two injured. The dead and hurt have transported to a nearby hospital.

In a similar incident, three members of a family killed when roof of their house had collapsed in Central Orakzai Agency yesterday. Bodies of wife of Haji Muhammad, his eight year old daughter Haleema Bibi and 10-year old son Abu Bakar pulled out from under the debris.
