From May 1, Petroleum products prices may see reduction
ISLAMABAD: Prices of petroleum products are likely to go down across the country from May 1.
According to the sources of oil companies, the price of petrol is expected to decrease by Rs 4.5 per liter from May 1. While the price of diesel is estimated to decrease by Rs 6 per liter.

Apart from this, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will send the summary of changes in the prices of petroleum products to the Ministry of Finance.
It should noted that the government changes the prices of petroleum products on the 1st and 15th of every month.

The Ministry of Food and Agriculture has issued a notification by fixing the price of sugar on the recommendation of the Advisory Board.
The retail price of sugar has established nationwide at Rs 98.82 paisa. According to a notification released by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
Also Sales tax of Rs 14.58 paisa would added to the price of sugar, which will priced at Rs 5.30 paisa per kg. Sugar mills’ profit will added along with the 25 paisa distributors’ margin. (read more)
