FAISALABAD: According to he private news channel news, two policemen allegedly sexually assaulted a nurse in Faisalabad on Friday in yet another rape incidence in Pakistan.

Two police officers allegedly stopped a nurse who was waiting with a companion on Kanal Road in Samundari, Faisalabad. Shujaat and Suhaib, two city police officers, ‘raped’ the nurse before escaping.

After receiving the information, the police took immediate action and detained both of the suspects. The SP went to the victim’s home after the ‘rape’ and promised to bring justice to bear.

In one recent incidence, a woman was raped within the X-ray facility of the Rawalpindi Hospital. Rape cases are on the rise in Pakistan, especially in Punjab.

After the woman’s medical checkup revealed that she had raped. The police opened an investigation under section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code (penalty for rape).

The primary suspect allegedly called the complainant to the Benazir Bhutto medical on Murree Road and took her inside the x-ray room where his friend, a medical employee, was present, according to the first information report (FIR).
