Deadly Suicide Bomb Blast Targets Chinese Convoy in Karachi

A devastating suicide bomb blast struck a convoy carrying Chinese nationals in Karachi, Pakistan, on Sunday, killing at least three people and injuring 10 others. The attack occurred near Jinnah International Airport, sending shockwaves throughout the city.

The Attack

According to investigators, the suicide bomber deliberately targeted the Chinese convoy, ramming an explosive-laden vehicle into the foreigners’ car, causing massive destruction and damage to nearby vehicles. Rescue teams swiftly responded, retrieving one of the foreigners’ vehicles.

Investigation and Response

Authorities are working to obtain the car’s number plate and engine chassis number to aid in the investigation. Investigators are also gathering details about the damaged vehicles. The powerful explosion, heard miles away, occurred outside the airport, but authorities assure that all airport installations are safe and flight operations remain unaffected.
