In Rawalpindi, a special court established under the Official Secrets Act will convene to hear the cipher case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan today at Adiala Jail.

Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain will preside over the proceedings, which will also address a petition regarding a WhatsApp call made by Imran Khan to his sons. A notice has been issued to the jail superintendent in this regard.

The agenda for the day includes the cross-examination of prosecution witnesses by the lawyers in the cipher case.

Among those present for the proceedings will be Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, along with Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan, and his nephew. Additionally, Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s two daughters, wife, and son will also attend.

Both Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi are expected to appear in the new court. The jail’s community hall has been designated as the venue for the regular court proceedings.
