On Monday, Bilawal Bhutto, the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), forecasted that a coalition government would be formed following the February 8, 2024, election.

“The next government will be a coalition [regime]. Whether it is led by PML-N [Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz] or any other party,” stated the former foreign minister in an interview with Kashif Abbasi of private news channel.

Asif Zardari, the co-chairman of the PPP. Also predicted in November of last year that a “national unity government” would be formed following the elections. In his opinion, no party will be able to secure a two-thirds majority in the next elections.

Bilawal Bhutto responded that he not upset. And does not disagree with his father when Abbasi questioned him about the reported rift with his father. He grinned and said, “I am not running for election against Zardari Sahib.”

In addition, the former foreign minister emphasized that all fathers. Including those in politics, should teach their sons to never speak poorly of their fathers.

Bilawal continued, “My father and the PPP nominated me for the position of prime minister.”

Additionally, he declared that if Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif to retake power, he would exact revenge on those who removed him from office.
