Bilal Pasha, a CSS officer, “commits suicide”

BANNU: According to police on Tuesday, civil servant Bilal Pasha killed himself by self-inflicted gunshot.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Cantt Azmat Khan, Pasha, the chief executive officer of the Bannu Cantonment Board, committed suicide after experiencing mental stress for a few days.

The police claim that Pasha pulled the trigger at his home, where his body was discovered covered in blood. After that, the body of the young bureaucrat was moved to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bannu.

A media report states that the police are investigating the incident to determine whether Pasha was murdered or committed suicide. It was also mentioned that he had a head wound from a bullet.

After the funeral prayers, which took place at the cantonment board’s location, the body was transported to Khanewal, Pasha’s hometown, to be buried.

Everyone was shocked to learn of Pasha’s passing on social media. Pasha was a renowned CSS officer. The CEO was said to have passed away from a cardiac arrest in a number of reports.

On social media, people called for an inquiry into the incident, urging the police to determine whether the man killed himself or committed suicide.
