Former chief justice and current caretaker chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, inaugurated the Bannu Economic Zone in Peshawar. This initiative represents an important step toward regional economic growth and prosperity.

During the inauguration, allotment letters for plots in the Bannu Economic Zone were distributed. The economic zone will house 265 industries and cover an area of 415 acres. This strategic initiative expected to attract a significant investment of around Rs 10 billion.

Notably, the Bannu Economic Zone is expected to spur job creation, providing a ray of hope for the local workforce. A staggering 16,000 direct job opportunities will be created in Peshawar, demonstrating the ambitious project’s socioeconomic impact.

Furthermore, the economic zone expected to generate 48,000 new direct job opportunities. Significantly contributing to the region’s overall employment situation.

This initiative reflects the provincial government’s commitment to promoting economic development, attracting investment, and addressing unemployment issues. As the Bannu Economic Zone takes shape, it has the potential to transform Peshawar into a thriving economic hub, creating an environment conducive to industrial development and prosperity.
